The central button: reachable with no long scrolling
The check looks at whether a page's central call-to-action button is reachable in the first screen. It's recognised by its design — its own area or border, sufficient size, padding — not by its text.
- Recognition with no keyword list is deliberate: a list of known phrases would find the wrong thing depending on industry and language. Design traits are language-independent.
- A common pattern on phones: on desktop, the button sits next to the text; on the phone, it slides underneath — behind the image, heading, and three paragraphs.
- The finding is a pointer, not a rule. Some pages deliberately explain first and prompt action second; then the report states that the button sits lower down, and the decision stays with the operator.
