Structured sections: text length that can be processed
A page should be structured into several recognisable sections, not run as one continuous block. The check verifies whether such structure exists — it decides whether a system can form a meaningful excerpt at all.
- One single long block forces every evaluation system to cut arbitrarily. The result is a quote that begins in the middle of a thought.
- The right granularity comes from the content: one section per thought. Too coarse means several topics get pulled out together; too fine means the structure no longer says anything.
- This rule also improves readability for humans — hardly anyone reads a page top to bottom, most skim it along the headings.
