Frequent questions from partners
The basics are on the partner page. Here are the detail questions.
How does the referral work technically?
You receive a partner ID. Whether text link or mention in your consulting: if an order comes about via your ID, it is attributed to you.
Who supports the customer after the referral?
The audit service. You refer, we audit and are responsible for the result; your role remains that of the independent referrer. If you want to run the customer relationship yourself, the agency model (white label) is the right one.
May we use your content and logos?
Yes. For describing the service we provide text modules and graphics. It is not permitted to create the impression that you yourself are the audit authority.
What distinguishes partners from the agency model?
Partners refer and link; agencies integrate the service under their own brand into their services and buy audit credit. Both can be combined and switched at any time.
Who is the partnership especially suited for?
For everyone whose audience is responsible for websites: hosting providers, CMS providers, management consultancies, interest groups and institutions working on digital inclusion, as well as law firms advising on accessibility acts that need a technical finding as a basis.
What does a partnership cost?
Nothing. The partnership runs without an admission fee, without minimum turnover and without a term. You refer when it fits.
Do we see what became of a referral?
You see the organisations you support with their seals and the scope of the last audit. You do not see their own customers: a partner sees the agencies below it, not their end customers. That is data protection; the end-customer relationship belongs to the agency.
Can we run several organisations below us?
Yes, up to three levels deep: partner, agency, end customer. The audit service sets up the assignment; loops and self-assignments are rejected.
What happens if a referred website fails the audit?
Then no seal is created for the affected audit area, and the customer gets a complete findings report with what needs doing. In our experience that is exactly the moment a referral turns into an order.
Do we get free audits of our own?
Yes. Every organisation starts with an allowance of needs analyses, and more are added for every certificate sold. A needs analysis costs nothing and explicitly issues no seal; it shows whether there is any need at all.
May we embed the seal in our own website?
Yes, as a file. You download the seal on the verification page as SVG or PNG and serve it from your own server; below it you place the link to the verification page. That keeps every visit to your website a matter between you and your visitors. An image reloaded from our server on every visit would transmit their IP address to us, exactly the finding our data-protection audit names on other websites.
